Welcome camp - Auckland
The welcome camp in Auckland is a fantastic way to prepare for your high school experience in New Zealand. It is a great start to your new adventure in another part of the world!

​Welcome camp is held at Auckland YHA where you will stay for the duration. Together with your friends you will have classes with experienced teachers and learn about what New Zealand has to offer. This combined with excursions around Auckland make the program busy but also fun! The welcome camp is based on combining teaching, activities and support from leaders to help you get a smooth start to your high school exchange.  You will visit the beautiful Mt. Eden, where you will learn about the geography of Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, and enjoy fantastic views.  You may even enjoy a Powhiri (Maori Welcome) at the Auckland Museum during your stay.  You will learn and experience a lot of useful things before meeting your host family.
